Unique 1970s vintage necklace featuring a genuine seashell encased in handcrafted silver-plated metal work. The natural shell displays beautiful iridescent qualities with cream and pearl tones that shimmer in the light. The artisan metalwork creates an organic, flowing frame around the shell with an irregular, hand-forged appearance that emphasizes the piece's handmade character. The shell is securely mounted within the silver setting, which has developed a lovely patina over time. Suspended from a delicate silver-toned chain with a simple clasp closure.

Material: Real seashell with silver-plated metal setting, silver chain.

Color: Cream and pearl shell with oxidized silver tones

Closure: Standard necklace clasp

Era: Estimated 1970s

Made in: Unknown (handcrafted artisan piece)

Condition: Good vintage condition. Natural shell remains intact with beautiful iridescence preserved. Silver plating shows expected age-related patina and some wear consistent with vintage jewelry. Chain appears complete with functional clasp. No damage to the shell or mounting.
